About “Let’s sit in the kitchen and talk…” started many conversations in Linda’s aunt’s kitchen. With good home made food on the stove and in the oven, this was the place where adults and children, families, friends and neighbors shared their lives and their joys, worked through their problems, turned bad days into good and exchanged more smiles and laughs than you can imagine. She’s with us every day. There really was no other name more appropriate for our cafe, Marianne’s Kitchen (2011-2017) and now she’s with us again at Pantry and Trail. It’s not the same as that crackerbox West St. Paul kitchen, but we try.
