New coffee place alert!
We stopped by the new Rafiki coffee shop in the Griggs Midway Building—-on their THIRD day of business.
Affable owner, quick, with a great sense of humor…..he was the one-man do everything guy.
We ordered a veggie samosa, a bagel with cream cheese, and a cup of soup. The owner hustled as the building lunch crowd began to filter in. Very efficient, he worked hard to get our order to us (he has a long, skinny work area, like we do, so distance means a lot of footsteps).
It’s just a simple place; tasty samosa, standard soup a little too hot (which is better than lukewarm of course), good coffee and great conservation.
Give this guy some support since he is working to build a business in the local community. This space was empty for a long time, and this guy can make it work.
